The behavioral health services provided by the Olson Huff Center allow for the treatment of the whole person by integrating the treatment of your child's behavioral and medical health needs seamlessly. Our comprehensive team of psychologists, social workers and family therapists work together to address your child's health needs as well as the emotional needs of your family.
We strive to make normal childhood behaviors the rule, not the exception, for your child. We work collaboratively to empower you to understand challenging behavior and work to develop strategies for teaching your child more adaptive behavior. Parents or caregivers are an integral part of the care we provide and are often directly involved in the counseling. We follow a family-systems approach that does not separate the child from his or her support system but rather works to strengthen all areas of that system. This is a unique offering of the pediatric specialty programs to have integrated behavioral health services with joint treatment plans.
Behavioral Health Services currently only assists existing Mission's Children's Hospital patients. At this time we do not accept outside patient referrals for counseling.
